Each on short straight foot, the bowl with rounded body and loop handle on either side, the domed lid with applied finial worked as a citrus fruit, each with painted decoration consisting of a central floral spray, the exterior and sides with a plain register with floral spray bordered with a gilt palmette garland, a register with recurring yellow geometric forms above, the plate with similar decoration, the scalloped rim gilt with elaborate continuous scrolling tendrils, with blue shield mark, impressed numerals including date codes 9098, 807 and 35
The bowl 5.5/8in. (14.cm.) diam., the plate 10in. (25.2cm.) diam.
