The ebonised shaped top inset with a porcelain plaque depicting a musical scene, after Réunion en plein air by Antoine Watteau, the reverse inscribed in pencil 'E de Bateau', blue crossed sword marks, with panelled rocaille pierced frieze on flower-encrusted 'S'-scroll legs, on a later painted plinth foot
