The serpentine rouge griotte marble top above a waved fall-flap lined with gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface to the reverse, enclosing an interior with eleven pigeonholes and six short drawers, above a pair of cupboard doors, stamped C v WOLFF and JME, some restorations and replacements to the veneers
