A YELLOW-GLAZED DEEP BOWL
JIAJING SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1522-1566)
The bowl is of deep rounded form with a slightly everted rim, rising from a short ring foot. The exterior is incised with two writhing dragons chasing flaming pearls, the interior with a further dragon. It is covered in an attractive egg-yolk yellow glaze.
4 ¾ in. (12.1 cm.) diam.
