A HUANGHUALI TREE-TRUNK FORM BRUSHPOT

The large brushpot is carved in the form of a section from a tree-trunk with knots and a small branch to one side. The wood has a rich dark brown patina and the base has an inset plug.
8 ½ in. (21.6 cm.) wide.
