A SPINACH-GREEN JADE TWIN-HANDLED CENSER AND COVER
19TH/20TH CENTURY
The rectangular censer and cover are faceted with eight sides, supported on four ruyi-shaped feet. The body of the censer is delicately carved with lotus sprays and has a pair of flower-form handles with loose rings to either side. The cover is carved with a foliate border and has a flower-form finial. The stone is of an attractive rich green tone, with tiny darker flecks throughout.
