A YELLOW-GLAZED 'DRAGON' BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE-CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The large bowl is potted with deep rounded sides rising to a flaring mouth rim and supported on a short tapering foot. The exterior is finely incised with a pair of dragons chasing flaming pearls, above a band of overlapping petals encircling the foot. The centre of the interior is decorated with a further dragon. The bowl is covered overall in a soft yellow glaze.
