DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The bowl is thinly potted with tall rounded sides and a flaring mouth rim, raised on a short foot. The exterior of the bowl is delicately painted in iron-red to depict flower heads with leafy scrolls.

Daoguang examples include one illustrated by S. Valenstein, A Handbook of Chinese Ceramics, New York, 1989 ed., p. 273, no. 282; and a pair of bowls from the E.T.
