A WHITE JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The vase is of compressed baluster form, and is finely carved in low relief to each side of the body with four large archaistic dragons, below two smaller elongated dragons. The waisted neck has a pair of elephant handles with loose rings and a removable domed cover. The stone is of an attractive tone, with a small area of russet to one side.
