AN ENAMELLED SPINACH-GREEN JADE BRUSH POT
LATE QING DYNASTY, 20TH CENTURY
The brush pot is of square form supported by four bracket feet. Each side is finely carved in low relief and enamelled and gilt in vibrant tones with one of the 'Four Gentlemen', prunus, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum, beside an inscription to the left side. The stone is of a dark green tone with some lighter and darker inclusions.
