A WHITE JADE 'DRAGON' CUP-STAND
MING DYNASTY, 16TH/17TH CENTURY
The stand is of rectangular shape with canted corners. The top is deeply carved with two confronting dragons chasing a flaming pearl, surrounding a central circular recess to house a cup. The stone is of an even tone with some lighter mottling.
