A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE 'CHICKEN' BOWLS
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
Each bowl is potted with tall rounded sides, raised on a short foot. The exterior is delicately enamelled with a cockerel, a hen and three chicks beside rocks and sprays of peony and chrysanthemum.
