Lot Essay

With Rolex original presentation box.

The present example of reference 6262 features a well preserved case, with only some signs of wear and gentle polishing but still retaining beautiful proportions. The round buttons and the crown are correct, however the bezel was replaced with an acrylic bezel from peer reference 6264, probably in order to better match with its original owner's taste.

This collectors watch has a very charasmatic feel and look due to its subsidiary dials that have taken a warm light brown colour with time. Along with its typical satin finish, the dial has developed all its beauty with time. Overall a very nice example that will perfectly fit into any collection due to its attractive dial or that could also be enjoyed while worn.
