FIRST EDITION, AN EXCELLENT, UNRESTORED EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE RAREST RUSSIAN AVANT-GARDE BOOKS. Kukhnia is the best and, with Shary, one of the rarest of the children's books produced by Mandelshtam. Not in the British Library and not in the Mark Rats collection; WorldCat lists just two copies outside of Russia: at the New York Public and University of Pennsylvania libraries; a third is at MoMA.
