A late 19th / early 20th century pearl, diamond and treated jadeite jade pendent brooch
The drop modelled as an acorn with single pearl "nut", weighing approximately 22.20 carats, rose-cut diamond cap and leaf surmount, to a rose-cut diamond leaf design flexible suspension and looped line brooch surmount, the surmount with later applied twin carved jade twin frog detail, 6.0cm long
Accompanied by report no. 04832, dated 11th November 2011, from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating that the pearl was found to be natural, saltwater and that the jade was treated (acid bleached and polymer impregnated)
