Each circular with rope-work rims surrounding borders with entwined husk garlands issuing from cornucopia, a vacant oval cartouche to each side, the centres engraved with flower-heads, marked on reverse

Lot Essay

The present lot was among several exhibition pieces specifically made for the Exposition Universelle in Paris and the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo. The latter would be the last for Charles Lewis Tiffany; he died in 1902.
