MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCT, MARKED, PARIS, 1765/1766, WITH THE CHARGE AND DECHARGE MARKS OF JEAN-JACQUES PREVOST 1762-1768
oval box, the cover, sides and base each centred with an oval grisaille miniature on a pink ground within a chased gold frame, the cover and base with opaque green enamel floral crescents, the sides hung with trailing enamel foliate ribbon-tied swags, the outer borders with opaque pink enamel foliage set at intervals with chased gold flower-heads, chased scrolling gold pilasters, in associated brown leather case
