Each of elongated neck, decorated in underglaze blue, iron-red enamel and gilt with foliate panels containing ho-o [phoenixes] in flight above aoi [hollyhock] and blossoming cherry trees, surrounded by peonies and further panels with stylised flowers and hand scrolls, the cover similarly decorated with geometric patterns
