FOUR SNUFF BOTTLES

The group comprises two bottles carved from lapis lazuli, each decorated with flowers, one of which has birds. The third bottle is carved to one side with gourds on the vine, and to the reverse with zi sun wan dai, that may be translated as, "sons and grandsons for ten thousand generations". The fourth is a cinnabar lacquer bottle deeply carved with scrolling lotus.
