A SPINACH-GREEN JADE RECTANGULAR PLAQUE
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The plaque is carved and pierced with a pair of dragons flanking a shou character amongst flowers, a bat and a bird, within a double border enclosing scrolls, all raised on an openwork keyfret ground. The stone is of a spinach-green tone with some dark inclusions.
