ZHOU DYNASTY (C.1100-256 BC) AND LATER
The group comprises a bi disc with C-scrolls surrounding a rotating taiji symbol; an openwork plaque with phoenix and to the reverse the characters 'Yuzhen'; a bi disc carved with scrolling clouds to both sides. The fourth is a bi disc of a celadon tone with mottled inclusions.
The largest 3¼ in. (8.3 cm.) wide

From a Private East Asian Collector (d. 1994).
The first, acquired in 1990 in Hong Kong.
The third, acquired in 1974 from a private collector.
The fourth, acquired 1974 from a private collector.
