NEOLITHIC PERIOD (6500-1700 B.C.) AND LATER
The group comprises a bead in the form of a cong carved with geometric patterns, the stone is of a dark brown and mottled tone; a sword chape carved with raised nodes, the stone is of a celadon tone with russet and mottled inclusions; a sword chape decorated with a taotie mask, the stone is of a grey and mottled tone.
The largest 3? in. (9.2 cm.) wide

From a Private East Asian Collector (d. 1994).
The first, acquired in June 1985 from a collector.
The second, acquired in June 1982 in Hong Kong.
The third, acquired 1994 in Hong Kong.
