DAOGUANG IRON-RED SIX CHARACTER SEAL MARK WITHIN A RECTANGLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
It is moulded with rounded corners and with a gilt wickerwork pattern to the interior, which is further enamelled with with flowers and insects. The exterior is painted in iron-red and gilt with a double band of stylised dragons between a band of ruyi-heads and lappet-shaped panels.
