A PALE CELADON JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE AND COVER
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The twin-handled vessel is of square-sectioned form, carved with archaistic designs to the body and stylised plantain leaves around the neck. The cover is similarly carved with archaistic designs. The stone is of a pale tone with small areas of russet inclusions.
