A YIXING PEWTER-ENCASED BAMBOO-FORM TEAPOT AND COVER
IMPRESSED YANG PENGNIAN ZHI MARK, THE PEWTER SIGNED SHENG LANG, DATED SUMMER OF JIAWU YEAR, CORRESPONDING TO 1834
The teapot is decorated to one side with bamboo, the other side is inscribed, signed and dated. It is embellished with a celadon jade handle and spout, the flat cover is surmounted by a celadon and russet jade finial.
