A FAMILLE ROSE SQUARE-SECTION BALUSTER VASE
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)
It is decorated with four figural scenes depicting scholars and ladies, surrounded by auspicious symbols with dense scrolling lotus, all reserved on a lime-green ground. The slightly flaring neck is moulded with a pair of bat and peaches handles. There is an apocryphal Qianlong four-character mark to the base.
