A LARGE PAINTED ENAMEL RUBY-BACK DISH

The dish is finely decorated to the interior with a large leaf-shaped panel enclosing butterflies and insects amongst various large blooms including, peony, camellia, hibiscus, magnolia and chrysanthemum. The cartouche is surrounded by further small blooms on a dense leafy scroll on a dark turquoise ground. The base is decorated with a scene depicting a pair of cranes by pine tress.
