QIANLONG MARK AND PERIOD (1736-1795)
The exterior is finely incised with a calligraphic inscription reading 'Chunguang Jianke, Xunchun Shuiyi, Haoshen Xizhuan, Kanhua Baozhou, Xingzhu Niaoyin, Jincong Xundie, Zui Zaoyin, Yuchen Wuwu, Jietian Quyou, Ranchen Woxin, Qianlong Bingchang Yuti' relating to a lively spring garden scene. The stone is of a white tone with creamy white flecks.
