A GUAN-TYPE CONG-SHAPED VASE
18TH CENTURY
It is of square section and rectangular in shape below a tapering neck and standing on a ring foot. The sides are moulded in shallow relief with two vertical bars down each side, and alternating shorter and longer horizontal bars down the four corners. It is covered overall in a greyish cream glaze with wide dark-grey and russet crackles.
