A WHITE-GLAZED TRIPOD CENSER
UNDERGLAZE BLUE WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1620)
The censer is of compressed spherical shape and is raised on three conical legs. The exterior is incised with three sprays of chrysanthemum and peony, all under an even translucent glaze of pale grey-blue tones pooling in the incisions to emphasise the decoration.
