On troop dispositions in Spain: Napoleon directs the recipient to write to the Duke of Istria (Marshal Bessières) not to withdraw General Bonnet from the Asturias, detailing the strategic advantages of the present disposition, and the negative consequences of the withdrawal, and making further orders with regards to artillery.
