FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY STRAVINSKY: 'Pour Madame Leonora Wood Armsby temoignage d'une très vive sympathie' and embellished with a short musical quote. Armsby, as managing director, brought to the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra the great Pierre Monteux, who had led the first performance of Stravinsky's 'Le Sacre du printemps'.
