Each with woven gold bullion covered strap with crossed sword and baton button and fire-gilt crescent, and gold fine twist wire tassels, one retaining its Royal United Service Institute inventory label; together with a gold and crimson coloured sash with handwritten label named 'Lord Raglan'; and a large white and red feather plume

The epaulettes deposited with the Royal United Service Institution by Lt. Col. George Somerset, 3rd Baron Raglan, in 1895; removed by Major FitzRoy Somerset, 4th Baron Raglan, in October 1952.
