Unmarked but struck 465, 19th century, possibly Hanau, the silver-gilt, enamel and paste-set mounts of later date, 4 in. (10 cm.) wide
Total weight 9.8 oz. (278.1 gm.)
This snuff box was probably made for the Ottoman market and the Imperial tughra to the centre is that of Sultan Abdulaziz (r. 1861-1876).
