Circular, the hinged cover with oak leaf and acorn border, chased with the Royal Arms, marked on base and cover bezel

The Royal Arms are those of King George III (r.1760-1820).

Provenance

Probably Robert Stewart, Viscount Castlereagh, Later 2nd Marquess of Londonderry (1769-1822) and by descent.
