A GEORGE III SILVER CUP AND COVER
MARK OF HENRY NUTTING, LONDON, 1805
Vase-shaped and on circular foot, with ribbon-tied reeded loop handles and borders, the detachable waisted cover with viscount's coronet finial, the body engraved on one side with the Royal Arms, the other with a coat-of-arms below a marquess' coronet, the cover engraved with the Royal crest within Garter motto on one side, and a crest within the Garter motto below marquess' coronet, marked near handle and on cover bezel, further stamped underneath with inventory number '36'

28 oz. 3 dwt. (875 gr.)
The Royal arms are those of King George III (r.1760-1820).
The crest is that of Stewart, probably for Charles, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry K.G. (1778-1854).
