ink on satin
174.6 x 48.6 cm. (68 3/4 x 19 1/8 in.)

Further inscribed on box by Wu Degong (1850-1924), with two seals, dedicated to officer Weiyang, dated 1912.
TRANSLATION OF THE POEMS:
Mount Fangzhang is connected to the ocean,And Mount Tiantai is always shrouded in clouds.
I aspire to see this picturesque scene in real, But I am already too old for travels.
Fanli's boat is too small for me,And Wang Qiao has only one crane.
Having been drifting with the tide for my whole life, I just wonder how I can escape from mundanity.
