Albert Williams Studying under his father from an early age, Williams gained a thorough grounding in the techniques of the Old Masters. After further study at the Brighton College of Art, he became somewhat obsessed with the natural beauty of the flower and plant to which he devoted many years of study. So fastidious was his approach to their painting, that he likened his technique to the meticulous observation of the Dutch eighteenth-century school of flower paintings who clearly became his role model.
