INDISTINCTLY MARKED, PROBABLY MARK OF FABERGÉ, WORKMASTER'S MARK INDISTINCT, A.?, "88" STANDARD, ST. PETERSBURG, 1896/1908
Tapering form on spreading foot, with trifurcated, ribbed scroll handle and translucent enamel over wavy engine-turning, the upper section pale greyish-blue, the lower section raspberry-red, the two sections separated by twin scrolls centred by a cabochon-set moonstone, gilt interior
