The front chased in relief with a roaring lion's head in square frame with a large ring channel-set with rubies suspended from his jaws, and a horizontal band of dot and dash motifs, cabochon-set ruby thumbpiece, interior fitted with elasticated straps, in fitted leather box imprinted with the Imperial double-headed eagle and lined in oyster coloured silk and velvet
