A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL NOTE PAD OF BOOK FORM
APPARENTLY ONLY BEARING FRENCH CONTROL MARKS, CIRCA 1895
Lined in wine red silk forming two compartments for visiting cards; a Russian silver-gilt and cloisonné salt in the form of a kovsh by Maria Semenova, Moscow, 1908/1917, decorated with flowers principally in shades of pink, blue and green; and a Russian silver purse or cigarette case, mark of K.B,, St.Petersburg, circa 1880, with champlevé enamel Cyrillic lettering in red, turquoise and dark blue on an applied label translating as "I'm giving this to my beloved" within ropework surround, reverse with Pan-Slavic cartouche
