Title within an engraved border with a portrait of Tasso and a view of a harbor, 20 full-page engraved illustrations after Bernardo Castello by Giacomo Franco and Agostino Carracci, woodcut cartouches, initials and head- and tailpieces. (First quire shorter at bottom margin and with two leaves with folding crease at centre, occasional light foxing.) 18th-century panelled calf, gilt decoration at corners and centre-pieces within gilt elaborate borders, gilt spine and coloured motifs to gilt fore-edges (spine and joints rubbed and chipped at head with tiny wormholes, light scuff marks, corners bumped).
