Opaque and transparent pigments heightened with gold on paper, the emperor's profile with gold nimbus, wearing imperial jewels, on black background, the portrait laid down between blue borders with gilt arabesques, carried by six angels, his armies in the foreground, laid down between gold and polychrome illuminated margins, under an illuminated headpiece, the reverse with royal black seal impression (now illegible) and inscriptions in nasta'liq script, mounted, framed and glazed
