A Greek marble alabastron
with flat base and wide disc rim, the body with relief band beneath the shoulder, and incised groove above the base -- 6 7/8in. (17.5cm.) high; another smaller -- 2½in. (6.6cm.) high; an alabastron with rounded base, rim damaged -- 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) high; and another, the ovoid body with incised parallel banding and raised on integral socle plinth on three short feet, concentric circles beneath, one foot and rim damaged -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) high, all circa late 4th Century B.C.
