With long very slightly curved double-edged blade with drop-point tip, the carved pistol grip hilt with a six-petalled flower rising from the quillons and square and another similar motif to each side of the pommel, the later sheath covered with cloth woven with swaying botehs and profuse floral scrolls, the blade probably 17th Century
