with five line dedicatory Latin inscription reading: "To the gods of the departed Lucius Corneilus [sic] Donatulus, lived for 36 years, 5 months, 15 days", traces of red pigment in the rough lettering, repaired, mounted -- 8¼ x 7½in. (21 x 19cm.) max., 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
