A pair of East Roman gold earrings
each gold hoop with hook and eye clasp, a gold wire pendant threaded with a barrel-shaped glass 'onyx' bead, three gold collar beads above; and another similar pair, the open hoop with a loop beneath, from which hangs a pendant wire rod, threaded with a white glass 'melon' bead, a gold pear-shaped bead and surmounted by a deep rectangular box setting inlaid with green glass -- all 2in. (5cm.) long av., 3rd-5th Century A.D.
