the pregnant hippopotamus goddess holding a knife and resting on a protective ankh sign, Third Intermediate Period (1070-712 B.C.); a menat counterpoise amulet with horizontal ribbing, Saite Period, Dynasty XXVI (664-525 B.C.); a pale green staircase amulet; a bright blue glazed uraeus amulet, both Saite to Ptolemaic Period, 6th-1st Century B.C.; and a similar glazed scarab -- 1 5/8in. (4.2cm.) long max., Late Period (712-332 B.C.), all pierced for attachment
