A miscellaneous group of mainly amulets, beads and seals
including an Egyptian steatite model of a headrest, with incised figure of Thoth carrying a was-sceptre on the pillar -- 2.5cm. high, Late Period (712-332 B.C.), a group of turquoise glazed composition spherical beads, threaded with a double wedjat-eye amulet, an openwork amulet of a lioness headed goddess, and a double-sided plaque showing a Hathor sistrum with two uraeii and sun disc below, the reverse with maat-feather and uraeus, Middle/New Kingdom (2040-1070 B.C.); a turquoise glazed composition head of Ptaichos -- 2cm. high, circa 6th-1st Century B.C.; a Roman bronze togatus figure, with his himation wrapped over his head -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) high, 1st Century A.D.; a group of Christian symbolic glass amulets comprising two openwork blue glass vases, a dolphin, a conical pendant, the green glass wrapped with opaque red trails, and three disk pendants with symbolic reliefs including a menora, a Sassanian lion and two busts -- 1in.
