Reference 5180 is the successor of the celebrated reference 3878, Patek Philippe's only other automatic skeletonized wristwatch. Reference 5180 replaced reference 3878 in 2008 and is today highly popular amongst Asian collectors. According to our research, less than 5 examples, including the present watch, have resurfaced at auction since its launch.
